Overview of Capacity Release Program
Capacity on Tennessee Gas Pipeline can be released on the PASSKEY system through the Capacity Release icon in the Passkey directory menu.

Q: When must a release be posted?

A release must be posted if one of the following conditions exist:

(1) The release term is greater than 31 days at less than max rate
(2) The release is a rollover (defined as releasing the same or overlapping capacity to the same party within 28 days of the end of a previous release. (i.e. non-biddable release from Party A to Party B ends on 3/31/2000, Party A cannot release the same or overlapping capacity to Party B until 4/29/2000, UNLESS release is at max rate, in which case the 28-day rule does not apply.)

Q: How long must a release be posted in Capacity Release?

The length of time that a release must be posted depends on whether it is a short-term or long-term release.
